👻 Forest of Freaks – Actor Rules 2025 👻

Welcome to the 18th year of terror! As part of the Forest of Freaks family, you’re not just an actor — you’re a vital part of the scare. To keep the show safe, fun, and unforgettable, all actors must follow these rules:

🔒 General Rules

• You must be 16 or older to participate. (unless family acts with you)

• Check in on time for every shift — late arrivals affect the entire show.

• No alcohol, drugs, or being under the influence while on property. Immediate removal if violated.

• Respect all staff, actors, and guests at all times.

• Stay in your assigned zone unless moved by a manager.

🎭 Performance Rules

• No touching guests (and no guests may touch you). Use proximity, props, and sound to scare.

• Stay in character at all times when in view of guests.

• Don’t break character unless there is an emergency.

•  Some props and costumes are provided — treat them with care and return them each night.

• Follow zone-specific scare tactics as trained.

🛡️ Safety Rules

• Emergency phrase is “Code Red” — use if someone is injured or a dangerous situation occurs.

• No running in dark areas — move quickly but controlled.

• Use caution with props, animatronics, and set pieces. Report damage immediately.

• Stay hydrated — water breaks are scheduled.

💀 Expectations & Perks

• Bring your energy every night — the more effort you give, the scarier the haunt.

• Pay, meals, and merch are provided for all cast members.

• Attendance and performance will be considered for returning roles and promotions in future seasons.

⚠️ Remember: We scare guests, not each other. We want screams — not injuries. Keep it safe, keep it creepy, and let’s make 2025 the scariest year yet!
